Yeah, it is very old, but i have been there often in the last two years and Castle is still really pretty and renovated by World Bank.

I took this foto in 1969, I knew it was a place of learning but forgot the name. In the neighbourhoud stood also some (7 I think) minarets). Thank you Herawi for setting me on the right trail.

The first and the biggest renovation ended in 1978. Also in 2003 is Arg renovated. All shops and houses around Arg must make place for a nice park. This picture is taken from northeast side.
