Like, nice view!
Sometime around September 2014 all the trees here were cut down and the area was leveled to become a new residential neighborhood. (The north side of the Boulevard was leveled a year ago.)
You have taken such a wonderful series of pictures along the creeks and wetlands in this area. This is my personal favorite.
Update: the Modoc Railroad Academy is history. All the engines, cars and even the tracks are gone. :-(
By the way, a small section of Sacramento Northern Railway still exists near Yuba County Airport south of Marysville. It serves as a part of a spur to Pearson. I took some photos there last year; I'll publish them soon, or later, maybe.

This fire station was closed in May 2013 as the new Fire Station 9 started operations.
Thanks for the update. I have to agree that West Colton is bigger than Roseville now.
