Thanks for the suggestion, HOMEDOC. Medium format would be a dream for me, but for the time being, a Nikon D7000 must suffice. You're quite right about experimenting with varying exposure times. Since I'm using HDR processing most of the time, each exposure is different, but it's good sometimes to break the pattern and go with a radically fast exposure time and a higher ISO. Once in a while I try it, though I haven't been highly satisfied with the results. As for exhibiting, this is more of a hobby than a profession, so I'm not usually actively seeking a venue, though I have sold some work. As a painter and a commercial illustrator I've had more financial success. No matter. It's just great fun to travel, to record, and to see the reward on the Mac when the job is complete!
Very beautiful panorama and great colours! LIKE! Best wishes from Ukraine! Yuri.

Excellent view of this great place!L
Thank you, Heather. Yes, beautiful, but a terrifying place too, if one ignores the fences meant to guard visitors from injury. I'd like to visit this place again when the ice covers the river and snow is all about. Few people in Canada or even Ontario know about this spot.
Love your gallery of agriculture in the "wide brown land". Please keep it growing! - Steve
Another of the many great ladscapes that can be found in this part of the world, thx for sharing!
Amazing place, and I found the history very interesting too, I'd love to take a dip there but would never attempt to swim through the hole!
a surreal capture of this natural marvel, Auggie. i am envious of your time with The Falls at this magical moment. ㋡
Best regards, _Don Z_*
Actually, as much as I wanted to get out to photograph the ice, I needed to wait until the weather warmed. Health and time limitations were factors. But perhaps next winter will bring more opportunities. Certainly Tews Falls didn't disappoint!
All the best at shutter clicking to you!
