I was at the unveiling of the statue, I was in my teens at the time. So I had to hunt it up and get some photos. Glad you lie it. It was moved to it's present location.
I was in the Navy. CTM at the bullpen. This was my first duty station out of school, had a lot of equipment and systems I was responsible for, lot of stuff to keep running. I loved it.

A telephoto lens brings Casey closer. Grain silos are prominant. Nice straight track and clean looking ballast.
A couple miles west of Casey, looking towards town.
Just west of Casey, and looking west. Good clean tracks, nice ballast, corn on both sides of the right-of-way. It was a good day to chase trains.
It really catches the eye. Good advertizing. I'll stop by sometime, I love BBQ and country food.
