Thanks for your comment Dee. You work in an historic area of Fleming Road, which in the past hosted such things as Anti-Aircraft guns, a large Hide Tannery adjacent to Boss Wrecking and a Searchlight Emplacement in the lower paddock beside the ramp. The gun Emplacements are located at the rear of the properties at the top of the hill on the Southern side of the road.
I've driven past them so many times on the Gateway and always wondered what they were!

THE LARGE WRECK IN THE PICTURE IS IDENTIFIED AS THE "RUNIC" THE LARGEST REFRIGERATED CARGO SHIP OF ITS TIME. SHE RAN AGROUND IN FEBRUARY 1961.
