Auf Koh Tao ist das Publikum relativ jung, immer noch viele Backpacker und natürlich vor allem Taucher, weil man hier Tauchscheine mit am günstigsten auf der ganzen Welt machen kann.
Der Tourismus unterscheidet sich wohltuend von dem was man auf Inseln wie Samui und Phuket vorfindet.
Die "Unwetter" im Golf von Thailand beschränken sich hauptsächlich auf den Monat November und wer die Novemberstürme im Golf als Unwetter bezeichnet, hat offensichtlich noch nie eines erlebt.
