Hi, thank you for showing interest in my page. My name is Simon, I live close to Whitby, North Yorkshire. I am a woodworker, but I have the hobby of photography too. I don't specialise in any particular style. I just take images of what I like. My photography equipment is scant. And my style is simple... Headphones in. Camera in hand. And spare battery in the pocket. Get out there and enjoy! But, however, for long exposures I take a tripod. Please check my facebook page also, as this has photos which are not uploaded here. Photos from a group called Goggles, Goths and Lenses. Which is all about our models dressing up and a few togs getting nice shots in great settings. www.facebook.com/sighsphotography. Recently, English Heritage, and more particularly, Whitby Abbey have asked me to cover their events. So hence the reason you will see many images of the abbey in my pages. Again, thank you for looking. Please take a moment to comment on any image you may like.

You are a beautiful artist! Renata. Greetings.

Actually these red stations are fibreglass shelters called 'apples' set up by the australian government. They contain emergency supplies and some have deteriorated and some haven't. Either way its crazy how on such a deserted antarctic island these interesting and sci fi almost shelters exist, thanks to Robert Scmeider for the information
