My Mother Flora Galbraith Nee MacNeil(Loll a Dotair) was brought up in this house along with her many brothers and sisters, wonderful Mother Maryann and Hardworking father Roddy. The house was destroyed by fire some years ago. You must agree the view IS stunning. I have great memories of this house and had some great holiday here while growing up. If Scotland is God's own Country then Uidh is his home.

My wife & I plan to stay here Nov 22, 07 while in Castlebay to visit the town and take pictures of it and the castle. She is a Macneil on her mothers side some generations past.
