Beautiful picture - however misplaced. The visitors park from which this photo was taken is actually next to the Ford Island bridge. This is also where the USS Bowfin is moored, along with many memorial plaques discussing Pearl Harbor.
Kentucky Military Insitute came to its winter campus in Venice, FL after Chrismas and return to Louisville, KY at Easter every winter. The train was called The KMI Special and stopped at this very station. There was no canal then.
