Die Seitenlage ist ja gerade das Interessante, hatte da mehrere Fotos gemacht in so 15 Minuten Zeitabstand, das sieht man wie er in perfekten Seitenlage im Meer versinkt. Die aufnahmen entstanden ja auch fast am Äquator. Die Klickzahl kommt vermutlich daher, dass das Bild schon sehr lange gepostet ist, seit anbeginn von Panoramio. Viele Klicks bekommen offenbar auch Bilder, bei denen man im "thumbnail" noch nicht so viel erkennt. Dann wäre es Neugier, aber keinesfalls Unkenntnis. Ein brauchbarer Bildtitel hilft auch zu Klicks... und wer sich die Farben der Sterne ansehen will, der wird sie hier finden.

...nope... just 15 minutes to shot, not 20 but about 60 differents picture (1/10sec 1000 ISO f2.8)

I've no idea about the place. There are a few lakes near the "about 2000km" area on the great circle route from Seoul to Dubai, in north or northwest of China. If the flight line is clear, more information might got,since the lake looks unique(with mountains around), and there are a few fields but no villages and trees.
