Thanks again David. This was a brilliant evening sunset, then I saw this jet flying over as if to try and keep up with the setting sun. When Concorde was still going it used to fly over us, too high to see, but regularly heard it's sonic boom. They would have had the speed to keep up with the setting sun, so could have observed a permanent sunset all the way to the U.S.A! Cheers - Jim

Glad you like this David. Sorry about the slight delay replying but I recently joined Google+ which for some reason locked me out of this "Beamish" account and I've only just managed to access it again!

I took loads of Moon photos at about the same time as this one when I got my (then new) Panasonic DMC-FZ38 camera to test its zooming and light capabilities. Much fun was had at the time! Best wishes - Jim
