Even though I went that road more than many others I'm not exactly sure of the exact location of this place (long time gone...). Please feel free to correct me if you know better, that would really help!
So have to be drugs, swimming with dolphins, a real Italian coffee or having multiple-partners sex and yet, most of us go through this life with just others' depictions of these experiences which enrich our lives nonetheless... Who ever said a photograph could transcribe the feeling of a cold and harsh wind making you feel like you were alive again? Who said the tangled smells of foam and seaweed that brought you back to the innocence of childhood which you can never experience genuinely again could be captured on a film? I certainly didn't and I can't think of any person foolish enough to pretend so... So if you think my photograph is just crap, which I can perfectly understand, feel free to express it in terms not subject to open controversy, even though I guess it was kind enough of you not to do so... Anyway this commentary was rather for fun than anything else, and yes indeed, keem strand is worth the journey! See you there sometimes maybe!
On N59, between Leenane and Letterfrack, looking south east on Maumturk mountains, you feel just like you owned the world, except when one of the crazy dogs living there comes runing after your legs...

That's Beltra Lough for sure, but I couldn't tell exactly where for it's been while I've moved from Ireland
