The building at left was Hixon House, best knowed as nursing building and in they final years served as dorm to students from all word. Saddly It no longer exist.
This sign is no longer at the stadium. It was partially damaged during an early 2009 fire then it was taken down. The South Endzone where this sign once stood is now being built up to higher capacity with skyboxes and new Jumbotron screens much like the North Endzone.
