ExistingLight I started in photography in the late 1950s as a boy with my mother's Kodak box camera (who remembers 620 film?). After the usual round of Instamatics and similar cameras it was not until 1980 that I purchased my first SLR, a Pentax ME Super. It was a tremendous camera--fast, simple and powerful (1/2000 second shutter speed!) and I loved it. I later graduated to a Pentax LX and then moved to a Nikon FE and then to digital. I just retired my Nikon D-80, a great camera, for a D7000. I use CS4, LR3 and Nikon Capture NX2 for post-processing. I enjoy traveling and trying to find the unfamiliar embedded in the familiar, plus landscapes and scenics.
