"The man who does not carry his city in his heart is a spiritual starveling." --Fr. Gabriel Richard. I do not necessarily consider myself a photographer, but I often carry a point & shoot camera...they are easier to conceal. Most of my older stuff (pre-2005) is scanned from film, using the technology of the day.

Excellent composition.

Best wishes from Jordan.

Thank you RNLatvian yes it is I know its old completed around 1930, seen many many years of great service and many more to come..

its a Walters, not sure exactly when it was built, I'd say 1950's, if you put fresh batterys and fuel in it and a few shots of starting fluid it would probably fire right up. first time i drove it i was around 13 my gramps taught me.

yes, this is a unique style of art was built in 1928, and is still in use, unlike other skyscrapers in Detroit.

i looked all over and in all my books to see where i had read that part of the 1865 church remained, but i cant find it. it does look more 1930 than 1865 anyway.

actually i believe this belongs to the Tamarack Mine #1 shaft
