Keep Panoramio Alive: Sign the Petition [http://tinyurl.com/pdbzfqe] As Joaquín, Jose and Eduardo state: "For nine years Panoramio users have been carefully taking, selecting, sharing and manually geolocating 80 millions of photos for countless hours."..."They gave Google the right to display their photos in Earth and Maps. It is fair to ask Google to keep the Panoramio community alive in exchange." That says most of it. More though, Google Views, without the Panoramio community, can only become yet another Google product offering further 'marketing opportunities'. I've not geolocated more than 700 images to generate profit for Google and its shadowy partners. I've done it for myself and for other people, i.e. the Panoramio community. If the Panoramio community is 'pulled' then, like Hans Sterkendries (70,0000 images), I will pull my photographs.

Great shot Mike !! Dungeons break is infamous with broken boards & bones .... The locals reckon that if you dont have an angelic med aid scheme which covers a specialist physician then dont venture out at Dungeons ....

It's the boom of the Iranian barge Shir Yib, which lost its tow in 1970, Sheila and Caspian. In the years since your observation, Sheila, the remains of the boom have been completely flattened by rock falls from the cliffs above.

Wonderful contrast of colours. Greetings.

Impressive work! Best regards from Athens

I love looking at your photos. Superb photography.

Ta much, Irene. I guess the last thing that crosses one's mind when looking out across the Kalk Bay range is the sewage works ;).

Well captured, Mike. As a child, I had many days spent here playing, swimming, camping, etc. Brings back very wonderful memories. Thanks a lot.
