One of the many exorbitant rooms within the Louvre that Napoleon had used.

Even the street lights are works of art in this beautiful city.

Plenty to bought at Rusty's. Much better than the supermarkets. A feast for the senses.

The snow can make such a beautiful subject.

After a mistake in getting to the Grand Canyon, we ended taking the long way around, starting at the far end of the tourist drive. As it turns out it was a fantastic turn of events as I think this was the best viewpoint of the whole drive especially after walking to the top of the tower. And the snow didn't hurt either!

The beautiful Invalides. As with most buildings in Paris, this stood out because of its obvious gold roof. And because it is the final resting place of the legendary Napoleon.

A very nice B&B in the Provence countryside. It had a beautiful view of Mont Saint-Victoire from the other side of this building. Very quiet except during hunting season...

This is the sunset view from the back of the apartment we were staying in. Both sunrise and sunset are stunning in Port Grimaud. Can sit on the end of your private jetty and feed the fish nibbling at your toes.

Beautiful Portofino. As seen from the fortress on the hill. A fair walk up the hill from the bay but well worth it. The fortress itself has a magnificent history behind it and should be visited if you make it here.

A very interesting bit of work being carried out about half way along the northern side of the Cathedral in September 2005. There were some nice mosaic floors nearby a little deeper. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find out any information about this excavation.
