A beautiful town in central France, great place to visit and so well kept. Often missed by so many visitors to France who seem to bypass central France region in particular Allier/Auvergne region which is great to visit for the inactive Volcano regions. Vichy has the famous "Source" mineral springs in the centre of town, which date back to the Roman Empire days. The Golf course is of international standards if you are that way inclined. Vichy boasts A race course, superb athletics facilities, swimming pools, water sports facilities, Spas and a whole load more The local restaurants are of a high standard. A great town to visit or stay overnight if driving from Northern through to the South of France. The local region is fantastic to visit to.
