Lovely landscape, excellent image! VOTED & Like! Best regards from Athens. Nikos
The GRii goes over the Cuella de l'Infierno, the right hand col.
There had been a huge thunderstorm during the small hours. Luckily my tent held, although I had not closed the ventilation flap so I was rained on inside the tent.
Note the moon carved on the end of this log water trough. The other end had a carved sun. The feed is via smaller log with a V groove.
I dived in just too soon!
This was the best place David and I found to spend the night. We had been walking through heavy rain from Boldis Sobira.
Back on the GR11.
On returning to the GR11, I caught a train from Toulouse to here, then walked across the border to Saneja to resume the walk.
The GR11 goes up and over this col which is on the Spain-Andorra border.
This is the highest part of the GR11 at 2800m (9200ft)
