The photograph shows the Kalmar Nyckel docked at the Cape May-Lewes Ferry terminal at Lewes, DE. The ship is a replica of a Swedish vessel that completed four round-trip crossings of the Atlantic beginning in 1638, bringing settlers to the New World. She is owned and operated by the Kalmar Nyckel Foundation.
