my own photos are in a secret archive... these are photos that I've restored and I'm looking for the secret location of the Schwartz cabin from 1935 on Priest Lake, Idaho

Thanks gutoa,

I haven't been posting the photos that I've taken, I had just posted some family photos that I restored in Photoshop... but I feel like I did take them since I've been so close to the way they look now... they were in pretty bad shape.

I had been trying to find out where the cabin and pier in these photos was located on Priest Lake in Idaho, U.S. so the photos were posted here connected to a link on a website that is a blog about the Priest Lake community... I ended up finding the general area where this family cabin was located, but not the precise location, nor whether it still exists or not.

I'd sure like to visit Italy... your photos are favoloso.

I congratulate you on your picture! L&V.

Correction... it looks like the new consensus is that the Schwartz cabin is on the west side, not the east side, somewhere between Outlet Bay and Shoshone Bay... if anyone has seen this moving cabin, just leave me a note.

Hey Kaniksu Man,

Someone else, Doug, has suggested the same thing that you did... that the cabin location appears to be on the west side... here is what Doug said...

"From these pictures this location is on the west side of the lake looking north and is about 2-2.5 miles north of thye outlet. It is just a bit north of a cabin my father built in 1932"

So it looks like you are right, not that there was any doubt... I just had a bit of a hard time letting go of a long standing assumption that was playing out... I'll try to follow this new direction.

Thank you so much,

numetro
