You can call me John or Ian I am known by both Ian is the Scottish Gaelic version of John, I love walking in the countryside be it Sun, Rain or Snow, I'm also interested in Roman & Viking history and the influence they had on Scottish culture, My Favourite Quote is by Ivan Nikolayevitsh Panin 1855 - 1942 For every beauty there is an eye somewhere to see it, For every truth there is an ear somewhere to hear it, For every love there is a heart somewhere to receive it. My Favourite Poem is by Robert Frost 1874 - 1963 Whose woods these are I think I know. His house is in the village, though; He will not see me stopping here To watch his woods fill up with snow. My little horse must think it queer To stop without a farmhouse near Between the woods and frozen lake The darkest evening of the year. He gives his harness bells a shake To ask if there is some mistake. The only other sounds the sweep Of easy wind and downy flake. The woods are lovely, dark, and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep. * Thank you for stopping by my photo gallery * My Email address is

Magnificent tonalities & beautiful silhouettes! - Many Greetings.

Chamber is right.... it doesn't look big enough for two rooms.. :-) What a great find even including the local War Memorial.
