ZHU Zhiwen is from Xiaogan, Hubei province in southern China, where his childhood was spent in the natural environment of countryside. After completing his M.S. in Cartography and Geography Information System in University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in June, 2011, he worked as volunteer in Inner Mongolia, Qinghai, Jilin, Heilongjiang and Tibet in China to protect wildlife and improve conservation capacity of local communities. Now He works as a project assistant to protect Amur Tiger and its prey in Northeast China.
My first camera equipment is Canon PowerShot SX120 IS, which opens the door of photography for me. Now I use Canon 550D with two Canon EF-S lenses: 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS and 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II. I also have a tripod, a UV filter and a CPL filter.
