If you go to the lodge on the shore, the ghillie there will hire you a rowing boat, and you can row over to take a look at it. You are no longer supposed to land on the island, as some of the structure is considered unsafe ("Elf & safety"!)but that won't prevent your having a closeup look at the whole thing.

Thanks, Whoelius. Glen Affric is worth a trip, with or without the leicas! Most of my work on the net is now with a Canon 50D, sometimes with Angenieux lenses off the R4, but it is so much more immediate than having pro film developed and scanned. I like your most recent urban landscape shot - looks like a great place to live, if you can take the winters.
