Now crosshatchpics Number 1 for views - closely followed by my view of the course.
If you plan a visit, select 'Wye Valley - lower' from my Tags list to see the area around The Celtic Manor. (Yes, I know it overlooks the Usk Valley but for convenience, I have lumped it in with The Wye Valley).
Other areas to select are 'Brecon Beacons National Park' - (which is where the River Usk has its source), and 'Cardiff & The Vale of Glamorgan' which is just to the west.
Planning a visit to Wales? Check out my other Tags for Wales - South West/ Mid/ North. (Plenty of great golf courses).
By the way, October > January are the wettest months. March is the driest (but cold). Average hours of sunshine per day is 3 in October but 7 in June (Cardiff).

Beautiful! A sight I would love to see for myself.
Very nice church crosshatchpics!
Very peaceful. You have to find a way to add sound.
Very beautiful landscape, wonderful composition, colours and reflections. Great shot! regards from Spain
Good pic, you can see the red limestone between the white and the carrstone at the bottom.
The Wales Millennium Centre looks a different colour under various weather conditions. When skies are dull, the building looks a dull bronze. Looking against the light, it can appear black. Here, on a sunny day looking at it with the sun behind the camera, the building shines gold.
wow! it really amazing! thanks!
