crosshatchpics's conversations

CROSSHATCHPICS BIDS FAREWELL! Google have decided to close Panoramio and wish for the photos to appear on Google Maps only. I always found it useful to click on Google Earth and see views of different location uploaded by others -though some photos were so poor they should not have been accepted. Anyway, as users will appreciate, I have broken down my photos into different regions of the UK - which no doubt proved useful to those planning on visiting these areas. It now looks like all my efforts are being discarded by that American monolith Google - who took over the original Panoramio when the Spanish founders sold out. So, this wealthy company managed to get a load of content for free from Panoramio users who appear to have been taken for mugs. Goodbye everyone.

How pretty. Lovely to see it in a bright photo. I have just discovered this coastline. It is fantastic.

Very interesting place and very nice photo!

(This photograph is beautiful Manorbier Bay on the stunning Pembrokeshire coast in south west Wales).

WILL VIEWERS' PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING WHEN CLICKING THE TAGS OF THE DIFFERENT AREAS:- Click on the first photo that appears at the top left of the screen. Now click on it again & it becomes much bigger. If you then clicked the big arrow above to play a slideshow, it will TAKE YOU OUT OF THE SELECTED AREA unless you choose REVERSE ORDER from the downward pointing arrows menu. Manually, choose the left pointing (backwards arrow) to stay within the selected region.
