Sorry, yes you a right, thanks for pointing this out. I was not sure on the name of the dam when I added the photo and thought that it would be the George dam due to the proximity of the dam. There is a hiking trail higher up in the mountain and some years back I took the trail on a Saturday. This trail passes and you actually walk over the dam wall, which is if I remember correctly.
The photo was taken years back from the Kob-Inn Hotel at Qora Mouth when I stayed there for a conference. The quality is not good as the photo is old and was scanned from the original. The facilities now (2007) look much different and upgraded as my wife and I recently visited again. Great place to go on holiday, fishing and to relax. I also added more recent photos on the site, which was taken with our last stay.
