Hi I hope you don't mind me mentioning but the oldest covered slipway is actualy at number three slipway Chatham Kent. You can visit the site at the Historic Naval Dockyard Chatham Kent.

There are many beautiful churches around Plymouth, with different times and different designs. A modern church like this has the modern textureless clean white.
This is indeed Devonport Leat, newer and longer than Drakes Leat. The head weir of drakes Leat is now under the waters of Burrator Dam. Devonport Leat, or what is left of it, has its head weir on the River Dart and now drains into Burrator.
Love nothing more than cycling the back lanes of Devon & Cornwall year round

It's strange to see two separate roof designs. Was the roof rebuilt due to damage or has this church been extended?
