A very touching picture and story. I have visited Romagne a couple of times and it made me proud. My uncle, who I knew, fought with the 1st Division in WWI and I have followed his exploits through France. He won the Silver Star on 7Oct18 in the Argonne. I had the honor of standing in the spot where he won the award. Great pictures.

Thanks for the photos of Liskiava. My grandparents left this village in 1906 to come to the US. My father had the opportunity to visit in 1989 before he died and I plan to visit that beautiful looking area within the next two years. Thanks again Gerard Lucas Walpole, MA USA
