I'm an amateur photographer who on the odd occasion is at the right place at the right time. I have been taking pictures since I was about eight years old using a hand-me-down 110 Instamatic. I've also had a Pentax Zoom 90-WR, Kodak Z740, and now a Kodak Z990 digital camera. I enjoy taking pictures of flowers (especially wildflowers), lighthouses, waterfalls, architecture, and other things I find interesting, which is just about everything. My profile picture is a self-portrait taken outside Voodoo Doughnuts in downtown Portland Oregon, July 2013.

Right! There are an amazing number of classic cars in this town, restored and rusty and everything in between. I'm assuming some men here have an old car fetish! Thanks, T!

Tack så mycket, Johan. Ha en ättikslag!

Really, great combo, huh? Hehehe...

Super! It looks so dainty, I LIKE this!

Thanks very much, coloradojak - your visit and enjoyment of this image is appreciated. You have your own marvelous sights to see. Friendly greetings from the Coast (O:

Thank you for the kind comments, Dale.

I hope your recollections of working at Dick's were good ones. A lot has changed since this photo was taken, and not just the breaking the $1 mark for a gallon of gas or introduction of "unleaded". I worked the Mobil on Burnsville Parkway a few years after this shot, while we were still manning the full-service line, assisting folks on the self-service line, all while trying to get work done in the service bays. I'm glad I captured this image and of the Cedar Avenue Clark "Super 100" station when I did. http://www.panoramio.com/photo/52685287
