Grew up going to Glamis with my family! Great memories! Riding a atv at the age of 4!

it's an Unmanned automated radar facility operated by the FAA as part of the air traffic control system. Dwarfed by the adjacent air traffic radar dome, Humboldt Mountain Lookout was built by the FAA to Forest Service specifications in 1958. The CL-100 R-6 metal flattop cab with catwalk on a 30 steel tower replaced a 1940 L-4 on a stone foundation. The Tonto National Forest station is in active service.
