Main turbine building seen on the left side of photo. At the time photo was taken electricity was no longer being generated and walkway on top of dam and turbines had been removed for a long time. At a later date, (Years) the dam was removed by the D.N.R. to reclaim original river bed upstream. There used to be a real good fishing hole a couple hundred yards downstream from the dam- gone now.
could you please tell how to get there on my own? will be going by car from duluth to twin cities by hwy35. is there a road from sandton? a walking path?

I came up there that winter you had no snow. Better to have snow in winter time.
