It was actually the old Redwood HWY abandoned in the early 1930's. Or as grandpa called it - HWY 1.

Hey. AWESOME PIC I am planning a trip south of HWY 199 into Jedediah to try and find the Grove of Titans.

Do you know of any clues, directions, hints to its location I know it is West of Smith River and South of 199. Any ideas or leads would be AWESOME!!

The large concrete objects in the foreground are tetrahedrons and are part of the seawall. One was placed on a stand near US-101, to the east. During the tsunami of 1964, though it was designed to stay in place, it was moved off its pedestal by the force of the wave of water.
