My guess would be very little change. It is a very old town, and while I left Germany for the last time in 1979, I suspect the back streets of Friedberg are the same. Kent

May be long gone but still a treat to see! I stayed there my first night in Roswell (1980)

This aerial photo of Staufenberg is beautiful. The detail is stunning! I was very pleased to find it on Google Earth, as it shows the house of a family I visited many times while living in Germany during the period 1956-1964. I have looked many times on Google Earth for the house, but the detail was never sharp enough to find it. From your picture I could immediately pick it out. Thanks for the posting!!!! Kent

Our friends in the UK live there in "The Hollies" We have visited them three different times. They told us that originally it was two houses, and somewhere along the way combined into one. Kent

Yes, the first time I saw them I was very interested. I spent a lot of Summers in the Black Hills, so I was on them many times. This was scanned from an old slide of mine, and I am not 100% sure which of the two bridges it is. It has been many years since I was up there. Glad you liked the picture. Kent
