Great shot of the coastal mountain range. We've seen this sight in summer but never in winter. Flown through the Skeena valley here many times in the 70s. Thanks for publishing the photo.
This ship has been moved a block west in the same area. The whole area is being redeveloped with a hotel and condos. The old machine shop and assembly building will be a market similar to Granville Island and a Maritime Museum. The ship will become part of the Maritime Museum. It represents a big part in North Vancouver's history in ship building.
