Thank-you! It's a pleasure to take them.
The land East and West of here was a wetlands we called "the Swamp". I hunted pheasants here in the late 50's. Once filled in, flooods happened from here down to Godsell Avenue. Eventually 4 homes on Godsell, Parnell, and Green were demolished by the MDC.
I have pictures of two.

Beautiful Fountain Picture!!!
The little, suburban neighborhood didn't exist when the towers originally went up in the early 60's. I actually have old aerial shots that show the towers in the middle of nowhere back then!
Very long delay in responding. Many decades ago I spent a few years working backcountry forestry crew for USNPS in S District Yellowstone NP, which included upper Snake, Big Game Ridge, Heart Lake, etc. Worked in Jackson during the winter, and was fortunate to have access to Harebell Cabin during the winter. Skied in several times and spent some magical days/nights out there. I understand exactly what you mean when you mention the "knowledge that truly there was no one else around." In those years all of my backcountry was in the Park, and I dreamed of exploring Teton Wilderness, just S of the boundary line one day. It took 30 years to do that but was fortunate again, much older, to spend parts of 3 summers doing just that. In the summer though, not winter like your trek. Still dream about the winter beauty of that backcountry. Again thanks for posting your pics.
Great mountain view !!! Splendid!!
