This is the tomb of Patrick Casey. Storekeeper in Long Swamp (now Trunkey Creek). He used to be the gold collection point and the Cobb and Co coach used to stop weekly for its pickup. No photos exist of Patrick Casey. Thanks for the photo A Smith.

This photo looks almost as if it was taken in Europe somewhere!

Here my question is answered! How incredibly interesting, have never seen tanks like these. In Fremantle in the seventies there was a gas tank shaped like a sphere, I have a vague childhood memory of it having been painted like a globe (of the world)...not totally sure about this though!

What an interesting place...are they underground tanks? Those structures above are quite ornate...look at those decorative/dangerous tips on the posts!

Thanks for the comment on the pictures azarov98. These shots were taken during a one day walk through. All up I walked about 48km, big day! Stunning views from the tops of the ranges and crystal clear creeks with abundant plant and wild life everywhere you look. Well worth the long hike.

Yes, I like this. Kevin does great work with his images and I will be the first to admit that these shots make good examples of shooting into the light. I had short comings when I last tried this but it will not deter me from trying again. Once again I say that you are one of my favoured photographers.
