Hi Lex, I'm sure you'll be rapt, the Flinders Ranges are SA's most scenic feature (imho)
That it is; It took me ages to find the location when mapping it for Google Earth/Maps because I couldn't remember exactly where it was unlike the other huts which stood out like the proverbial.
It certainly is in better condition than most other ruins you find in the Flinders and hopefully it will remain standing for many years as a reminder of what the early pioneers, and those that followed, endured while trying to eke out a living from country that can only be described as marginal at best, suitable only for grazing and not the growing of wheat as was attempted in the late 1800s in this part of SA.
