あかぎざか：赤城神社のそばにあるのでこの名がある。「新撰東京名所図絵」によれば、「峻悪にして車通ずべからず」とあり、かなりきつい坂だった当時の様子がしのばれる。

ながさか：麻布台上から十番へ下る長い坂であったためにいう。長坂氏が付近に住んでいたともいうが、その確証は得られていない。

ふじみざか：「新撰東京名所図会」には「駿河台南甲賀町のうち、袋町に通づる筋より南へ、猿楽町一丁目と小川町との間を下る坂、富士見坂と呼ぶ。風景賞すべき地にはあらざるとも、遠く富士を望むを得べし。富士見坂の名もこれに基しか。」と書かれています。富士見坂は千代田区だけでも３ヶ所あります。
