Welcome to my gallery, a keen amateur photographer for many years. I have a great pleasure in taking photographs, some of which are displayed here in my gallery. I hope you will get a great deal of pleasure viewing them as I did in selecting them. I am currently very keen on French landscape photography.

I really like this picture, there are so many points of interest, I even found myself zooming in lol.

Nice one! L.

Are you in property sales now Gordon?

I see you're into nighttime photography though. Very well done if I may say so......

This one was taken as the perfect time - blue time, when some light is still left in the sky so that it doesn't appear black.

Here are some thoughts for you (as you are using a tripod), skip using the flash as it only lights up the foreground.

The ISO is perfect.

Go for longer shutter speeds 5 or 10 seconds or even 30 as necessary.

Then use a higher f number - this can give you sharper images and the blades may even give you star bursts on the lights.

If you're worried about camera shake, use a remote control (they are SO cheap) or even delayed or timer shooting. Set the timer to 2 seconds so the vibration stops before the shutter opens.

Regardless this is great stuff..... keep up the progress - David

Interesting point of view. I like it!

Greetings from Spain,

Hello, Ludmila, Thank you for your answer on the Canal du Midi trees because it is classified by UNESCO and it is a shame especially for shade trees brings us. Check out this link some photos of this Canal du Midi, which dates from the year 1666.

Sincerely, Narbonne, France Roger.
