Placement of where photo was taken is correct. The trees are behind the camera and the "zoom" in of the climbing tank across the pond avoided any trees expect the tree north of the covered tables. The tree is casting the shadow shown on the ground at the edge of the pond.
harvstan - If it was your relative then we probably have family trees with close branches. Almost everyone from the Berlin area through some marriage connection can be linked together.
It was supposed to be a hotel/restaurant /gift shop etc. I agree its an eye sore. Now its supposed to be a student center for a non profit.

Thanks, I corrected it. Google has much better imagery than when I took the photo 4 years ago, so I was able to home in on the proper location.
View is east and marks the last break down before entry into Jester Cave.
View is west and marks the main entry point of many to the 6 mile cave system.
You need to look at moving the photo to where the ruins are located. I do not know where it should go but I know that it is not at the current location out side of Picota.
