This appears to be the old Singletary Store. My family had a house called "Duck Pond" on Lake Moultrie back in the 50's near this store. We use to walk to the store for groceries.
I Like the photos of the site very much but I'm looking for information on a Soldier that was a Prisoner of the Civil War the Union. He is an Ancestor of mine and I was told he is buried there but in an unmarked grave due to being a Prisoner of War. I believe his name is Morgan Morris and I found this information a few years ago but lost it. So I was hoping someone could possibly help me again. they did do a good job. Its been awhile since I posted anything hear and I never got involved with
Zakk Barrons buisness...but i was truely saddend they let that house ruin. I havent any respect for that. It looks good...nice work. thanks SLomasney in Knoxvillle
