I was actually here in 2006...it's an INCREDIBLE place to see first hand. The footprint is a "pointer" image to show you the direction to the nearest brothel, the rough sketch of the woman indicates a female brothel (and yes, there were male brothels)with the headdress indicating something about her looks, and the box below her image shows her actual name, although you can't see it in the picture.
