Hello Tim how lovely to hear from you again i do hope you are well and amassing a nice collection of church shots for posting one day ( if pano continues hopefully )
Hazel and I paid a visit to Holmefirth for two or three days in early March with a visit over the county border to Glossop in Derbyshire i am not sure of your location Tim but it certainly would have been lovely to say hello and you could have shared in the sandwich Baps .. er rolls :))
best wishes sent your way as always ~ Steve
Steve I was so proud to have captured this scene!! as you surely know, catching a Hummingbird in a photo is kinda rare! for me that is! :) I just happened to have been sitting near, and was watching the feeder when boom, he landed right on the edge and appeared to have seen me and I think flew away quickly!! your YSL means a lot, and I am glad you have come to see this for your first time...
Yes, we have these fast fellas fly in, but sooo hard to catch a shot.. We are hanging this feeder out in next few days with the sweetened water that they love ...hope to get a few fly in!
thanks Steve for the YSL.... Sarah x
Hope you are well? well spotted the sky was that blue or better for most of the afternoon, however the time setting on the camera was an hour ahead,I have now put it right.I was so impressed with Liverpool, it was my first visit since the late 1960s, I am planning to visit to York in March, another city that I have not visited since the late 60s.
All the best.
Amazing picture!! YSL
Kind regards, Begoña
Hello Tim just found this lovely shot after seeing it above the map of another so called in to put my big "like" on it too :))
best wishes as always ... steve
tracing ancestors - Elizabeth Groom baptised here 1811 - by the look of the building you would think it was fairly new red bricks.
Thanks to all, have a good day, Margherita
Hello Tim i do not know how i missed this lovely shot the first time around but pleased i have now ans possibly before to sad closure of Panoramio !!
Google have decided to merge Panoramio with Google Views and sadly this will mean the loss of some friends ... favoutite photographers .. groups ... and comments as these will not be transfered to views ... Google will move all ones photos across but that is pretty much it then once done Panoramio will be closed .. there have been a few petitions to try to stop this but time will tell if any good will come of them ( i think not ) as Google views is a meand of Google earning money for advertising so OUR PHOTOS are needed for advertising and to earn THEM money .... also we will be given 15 GB of free space for storing the posted photos any photos over that posted WE WILL BE CHARGED FOR !
best wishes .. and LONG LIVE PANO
