The white and green store on the right is Luis Liu's store. He was a Chinese merchant who had a 3 sons i think and one of them had a store just a couple of yards from there. The other son was a good friend of ours.
I lived in Dangriga between 1980 to 1984 and nothing much seems to have changed apart from cell phones, cable and satellite T.V.
My dad was the doctor of the hospital in those days.

Primo commento: la foto non è relativa a "Rocca Vecchia" ma credo ailla costa di Otranto. Secondo commento: il luogo identificato come "Rocca Vecchia" è errato, il vero nome del villaggio, frazione del comune di Melendugno, è "Roca Li Posti" per la precisione "Roca Vecchia" (e non "Rocca")è in un luogo vicino ma nell'entroterra. Precisamente sulla via che collega Melendugno a "Torre dell'Orso".

Antiguamente, Juan con su trabajo rudimentario y tradicional, más lento por cierto, y sin embargo estaba todo el servicio mejor que ahora habiendose equipado de soterramientos de contenedores y vehiculos mecánicos y tener a varias personas detras de ese servicio y no había como ahora tanto plástico y tanto papel, bolsas y botellas por la cuneta hasta el vertedero. Todo estaba mucho más limpio. En horabuena Juan
