Dear Thaimichel948
The River Kwai Airfield is off Highway No. 303
(about 2 Km North West from the place you took your photo
"My Paradise and hunting ground"
Best Regards,
tanoo
I quote from Travel.Mapsoftheworld.com
"There was an inhabitant of Neolithic people almost 4,000 years ago. The bank of the River Kwai was their dwelling place and they gathered their livelihood from this place"
The name of this bridge is "Two-Rivers Bridge"
It spans a now-unused channel for floating logs to an ancient saw mill. It is so named bacause of its location at the confluence of "Big(upper)Kwai River" and "Small(lower)Kwai River"
I intend to illustrate 2 types of dwellings in this photo. At left is one of many apartment buildings which are springing up all over Bangkok suburban areas to cater for the need of a fast-going metropolis. In contrast, stand-alone family homes like the one at right continue to be in demand for permanent settlement.

Flying above a small river one early morning, I captured this strip of low cloud snaking along the river.
