From being nearly empty , for a couple of years, as of the 3rd week in October 2010, Coliban Water officially rated this facility as being 100.5% full- yes, water going over the elevated spillway for the first time I can recall since its construction.

The people of Trentham are to be commended for the way they have attended to the preservation of this key element in the town,s history. I often wonder why the rail has not been extended to Daylesford.
