With a public right of way linking it to the Fife Coastal Path (Beech Ave.),Braefoot is well worth making a diversion to. The east end of the woods is dominated by the rather forbidding LPG Terminal which is surrounded by an electrified fence. The hill is a venue for some really serious downhill mountain biking,so,on the slopes walkers need to keep a weather eye out for the sudden appearance of hurtling cyclists. A panoramic view from East Lothian to West Lothian can be seen from the top of the cliff.
