Thanks for your comment on my Cahaba Slab Bridge #1 photo. This bridge was variously referred to as the "Marvel Slab Bridge" and the "New Slab Bridge" (since another bridge is located several miles upstream - that one is still there as far as I know but I haven't been out there for a number of years). I believe my location is accurate but I will double check next time I am out there. The bridge is not submerged. It was actually destroyed in 2004. (I had made a note of this on my CSB #2 photo but failed to add it to the #1 photo - I have corrected that.) http://www.cahabariver.net/nslab.htm I look forward to perusing your photos.

Not a fancy place by any means, but it is on the beach - and very few places are :{ We enjoy breakfast here every time we are in town.
