This "Tudor" or "Scottish" cottage (but definitely not Swiss!) was built in the 1930's for the Chief Surveyor of Singapore, Langdon Williams, as a holiday retreat. It has been designated a conservation building and recentlly renovated as the visitor centre for Chek Jawa Wetlands, a short walk away to the east.
